The Assistant Technical Director of WSUM manages the technical equipment both in the studio during live band sessions and during WSUM events around the campus and community.

The WSUM Community Outreach Coordinator is a liaison position responsible for ensuring that WSUM is fulfilling the part of its mission statement having to do with serving the community on and off campus.

Creative Director : Joe Topping
The Creative Director coordinates the station's branding and merchandise needs. He also manages all of the content that appears on the WSUM YouTube channel.

Engineer: Laura Gutknecht
Laura, as WSUM's engineer ensures our radio signals transmit properly between the station's antennas and WSUM's transmitter and warrants that no interference interrupts broadcast signals. On a daily basis she maintains all of the station's technical updates.

The General Manager oversees all station business and staff. Dave manages most everything with superhuman ability...and multiple phones.

The Production Director of WSUM is responsible for maintaining the station identity as displayed in station promos, PSAs, legal IDs, underwriting and sponsorship announcements and other on-air station identification.

The Sports Director of WSUM maintains and improves all aspects of sports shows, the on-air and off-air presence of the radio station’s sports department. He is in charge of on-air personnel for sports broadcasts and shows, the Sports News Team, and the logistics of home and away game coverage.

The Station Manager of WSUM maintains and improves the effectiveness of the radio station's on-air and off-air presence. Elected by his peers to run the station for one year, the station manager is a very demanding position requiring patience, stamina, and decisiveness.

The Traffic Director is responsible for the upkeep of the station and its on-air activities. On a daily basis, she maintains connections with on-air and off-air station personnel. Sophia also updates the WSUM website.

Traffic Director (DJ Interaction Coordinator): Catie Ruteledge
The Traffic Director of WSUM is responsible for clerical duties, on-site security, and internal administrative duties. On a daily basis, she maintains connections with on-air and off-air station personnel. Catie coordinates internal WSUM events as a means of ensuring a sense of community within the station.

The Traffic Director of WSUM is responsible for clerical duties, on-site security, and internal administrative duties.
