The longest-running show on the station, The Student Section is WSUM's signature sports talk show. The program is renowned for featuring premier guests, most notably ESPN's Adam Rittenberg, Andy Katz, and Scott Van Pelt, Big Ten Network’s Dave Revsine, as well as numerous Wisconsin coaches and current and former student-athletes.
